This was for one of my exams, the photography part of it. We had to take photos in the area we chose for our architectural project. Our area was totally ugly, so I decided to take this kind of photos.
I accidentally discovered this circle (first photo) and I immeditely thought at the photos of Stu Jenks. Sacred circles were part oh the cult of indian americans for the earth, and had the aim to collect the energy of nature.
In the light of this , to see a stone circle in a place like that (even if it was surely used for other purposes), seemed to me a paradox like would be to see Stonehenge in the centre of Tokyo.
Is this contast that I wanted to show, the contrast of a lost misticism, or a rediscovered misticism in a slovenly urban area, and the green areas in it.
I tried to rappresent the poliedricity of this area with different types of subjects, linked with a thread of light.
LIGHTPAINTING is a "photography teqnique" made using light to paint eheh. In this case I used a lighter. 30 second shutter speed and.. run run run. If you dont know about photography.... the person is not impressed because is moving too fast and is not "in light".

Some of them are vertical panoramas, and some of them are composition of 2 photos made in different exposition, dof, moment.
